AMCA Standard Air Chambers

Revcor has 4 Air Chambers from 0-40,000 CFM that are regularly calibrated to AMCA standards assuring accurate and repeatable test results.

Computerized Data Acquisition

Revcor's proprietary Computerized Data Acquisition system is installed on all of our air chambers. Our Performance Evaluation, Engineered Sample and Guaranteed Airflow Performance projects depends on the accurate collection of airflow performance data. Computerized data acquisition assures all of our test results are accurate, repeatable, and that data is presented to the engineer and the customer in an easy to understand and user friendly manner.

Computational Fluid Dynamics

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) plays a key role during the Design for Performance stage in our Rapid Product Development process. CFD enables us to predict the air performance of an impeller design. The accuracy of the CFD model reduces development time and cost by reducing the number of iterations required to make a working prototype.

Dynamometers

Dynamometers are used to help evaluate a motor’s torque, temperature and efficiency so that we can define motor specifications for our Motorized Package program.

Finite Element Analysis

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is used to refine the Concept model during the Structural Design stage of our Rapid Product Development process. FEA helps us minimize material cost by predicting failure points that are eliminated through embossing.

Rapid Prototyping

Prototyping is regularly done during the second stage of our Guaranteed Airflow Performance program. We are capable of making metal and plastic prototypes very quickly from our in-house fiber optic laser and flexible machining cells.

Structural Analysis

Structural Analysis is used to evaluate the feasibility of reducing material content and eliminating other costs while maintaining structural integrity of our products as needed to meet our customer’s requirements. Our experienced engineers evaluate the structural design of our blower and fan products during our Rapid Product Development process.

Sound Intensity Measurement

Noise reduction is the primary focus of many new product development projects. Revcor utilizes sound intensity measurement to fully analyze the noise spectrum of metal or plastic air impellers. These sound power evaluations enable us to achieve our customer’s noise reduction requirements.
