Performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of the human resources department.

Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining HRIS program and employee records
Managing Time Card and Exceptions transfer for Payroll
Assist in organizing and scheduling HR-related meetings and events
Collaborate with internal customers in the recruitment process of unskilled workers, including posting job openings, screening resumes, doing Employment verifications, and scheduling interviews
Assist with the onboarding process for all new hires
Address employee queries and provide prompt responses on HR policies and procedures
Assist in maintaining positive employee relations through effective communication and support
Support in benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries, FMLA, STD/LTD & COBRA
Assist employees with questions related to benefits programs
Prepare and maintain HR documents, such as offer letters, policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with document retention policies
Assist in organizing training sessions and workshops for employees
Track employee training records and ensure compliance with mandatory training programs
Assist in maintaining HR compliance with labor laws and regulations
Generate regular HR reports and assist in audits as required
Translate Spanish communication to ensure important company updates, policies, and safety information is/are clearly conveyed to all employees
Assist with special projects as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
2 Years of previous experience as an HR Assistant or in a similar administrative role
Basics of HR practices, compliance, and employment laws
Experience working in an on-site environment, preferably operations, manufacturing, or warehouse
Associate’s degree (preferred)
Knowledge of HR processes, policies, and procedures
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems
