Job Description

Looking for a Maintenance Mechanic to work in the Maintenance Department. Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment. Responsibility also may include facility work and involve the use of a variety of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Perform duties to install, maintain and repair a wide range of production equipment and building equipment.
Work from parts manuals, schematics, sketches and instructions to install and maintain production equipment such as punch presses, metal formers, riveters, lathes, drill presses and a variety of special purpose machines.
Perform building maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, concrete and welding operations.
Diagnose building and equipment trouble including disassemble, determine extent of repairs necessary, requisition or make up repair parts, assemble, test and adjust, oil and grease equipment according to schedules and assist in establishing other preventative maintenance programs.
Use common hand tools, micrometer, indicators, scale, electrical gauges, hand power tools, saw, drill press, fork lift, torch, welding equipment, ladder.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

3+ years of maintenance experience
2+ years of manufacturing experience
Associates Degree preferred
Familiar with plumbing, carpentry, electrical, concrete and welding operations.
